This new coffee shop feels like a breath of fresh air the moment you step inside with its wide, open layout and sunlight streaming through tall windows onto clusters of lush, living green plants. Vines trail from shelves, leafy pots line the corners, and bursts of color bring warmth and personality to every inch of the space. The atmosphere is both lively and calming, a place where you can settle in without feeling crowded. Behind the counter, the staff greet each guest with easy smiles and genuine enthusiasm, creating a sense of welcome that makes you want to stay just a little longer, savoring not just the coffee but the whole experience.

And speaking of staying longer, there are SO MANY seating options here. Gone are the days where you decide to meet up with a friend but cross your fingers that you’ll find a place to sit while you catch up. By the looks of the patio space and the garage door windows, there will be plenty of outdoor seating in the summer as well.
The second level is a bright and colorful space with tons of extra seating and a great view!

Idyll’s identity is shaped as much by the café as by the roastery just beyond a glass wall. Throughout the day, the steady rhythm of roasting fills the space with rich, evolving aromas—fruity, chocolatey, sometimes bright with citrus—offering customers a sensory preview of what’s to come in their cups. Burlap sacks of green beans line the back room, sourced from small farms around the world, then carefully transformed in small batches to highlight their unique character. Offering both blends and single-origin offerings, every bag on the shelf and every drink served tells a story of craftsmanship, from raw bean to final brew, making the experience feel intimate, fresh, and distinctly alive.

They have a generous selection of offerings, featuring both single-origin coffees and thoughtfully crafted blends to suit every palate.

If you’re a merch fan like we are, you’re in luck! You can shop for creative drink ware, clothing and bags in bright greens and their trademark Idyll orange. We didn’t see a cold brew can glass on the shelves (our personal favorite), but we’re crossing our fingers that it’s in the shop soon!

Now, on to the drinks! We regret that we didn’t have the time to sample more of the menu during our visit (next time, right?!). We were so excited to try some of their signature beverages on the menu.

Above: Cardamom Rose Latte–
This one was floral, spicy and smooth. This could easily rank as one of the best cardamom rose lattes we’ve tried. The cardamom really shined and we appreciated that the drink didn’t shy away from its name.

Above: Banana Bread Iced Latte–
Deliciously sweet with a burst of banana, but the sweetness did not overpower the nutty, chocolatey espresso. We loved that this one was topped with a lovely garnish to capture the true essence of homemade banana bread. Creative enough to pique the interest of those who like to try something new every once in awhile!

Above: Iced Caramel Latte with Cold Foam–
Another beautifully balanced drink! The sweet cold foam was an excellent addition to this drink. Again, the balance of sweetness and coffee was concocted perfectly, so it left us torn between downing it quickly or savoring every sip.

Idyll’s menu consists of more than just coffee. There are non-coffee drinks, bakery items, breakfast items such as avocado toast or an egg and cheese sandwich, and a lunch menu.

The Idyll Coffee Roasters website says “A Neighborhood Coffee Shop Roasting Specialty Coffee For Everyone”, and that definitely shines through in the amount of detail they put into their coffee shop. We were so excited to be able to stop by, and are even more excited for our second (and third, etc.) visit.
