Good product, initially turned off by scratchiness, but brews good coffee, and overall nice quality
Initially I wasn’t sure about this product because I hated the sound of the mesh screen against the sides of the titanium wall. It made a scratchy noise. But after comparing to a steel camp fence press, I realized the quality and weight of this one was good. Also, it is convenient because it can be heated directly. As for the scratchy sound, when there is water and coffee inside, it doesn’t make that noise anymore when pressing down. It also filters coffee well, and I’ve made some good brews with this. The light weightedness is a very good quality of this item. Titanium is a good product. The handles are good quality and study. You can make 3 cups of coffee with this.

    Great product. Used it this weekend. Size is enough for three or four teacups or two 16 oz coffee mugs. Boiled water in it and it worked just as advertised.

    Great Item gas cook tops and mobile living.

    This is a great coffee maker for boon docking RV or camping. The diameter is better suited for smaller gas burners than the Stanley French press. My boil times are shorter with less gas fuel also. There is a slight, very slight issue with the machining of parts as they can unscrew after several uses while in use. It's not big but the whole idea is this is a camping coffee press so keep in mind to tighten things between cleanings. As far as using this for a one pot or solo pot cooking. One is capable if removing the lid from the coffee press workings. For bushcraft light excursions this is not a bad edition but melting snow or making larger meals would need a bigger hobo pot.
