The Ice Cream Social is headed to Cleveland. After a successful inaugural event earlier this month in Seattle, La Marzocco‘s traveling affogato-based shindig is making its next stop in the Heartland for another round of cold treats, hot bites, and general good times.
As we previously reported, the Ice Cream Social is a summer event series that sees La Marzocco teaming up with Swiss Water to deliver what may be the best decaf affogato on planet earth. And like with the Seattle event, the affogato may be the star but the supporting cast is just as good.
Taking place Wednesday, July 29th at The Forge Cleveland, The Ice Cream Social will also feature sparkling drinks from Mineragua and live-fire pizzas made on-site using a Gozney pizza oven. Non-comestibles include lawn games because one can only eat so many affogatos in three hours. Or can they?
It all kicks off at 4:30pm on July 29th at The Forge located at 1557 E 40th St, Cleveland, OH 44103. The Ice Cream Social is a completely free event but an RSVP is needed for attendance, which can be made here. There will be two more stops on the decaffogato US tour, both taking place in August; location and date information to announced soon.
